Skiing in the Lebanon!

Faraya-Mzaar, Qanat Bakish, The Cedars, Laqlouq, Zaarour, Faqra

You know those places those places where they always say "Hey! Where else can you Snow Ski in the morning, and Waterski in the afternoon?" Well, loads of places it seems. Canada, Spain, and now the Lebanon.

Yup, they've been skiing in Lebanon since the 30's, although there was a long period when Lebanon was pretty much off limits. I once heard a story about landmines if you went off-piste, but I don't know if it was true.

Well, that's all behind them now.  There are at least 6 resorts, running to 3000m. And I can do not better then recommend SkiLeb for everything you need to know.
