Cheap to ski, expensive to eat, says the one review I have managed to find about skiing in Morocco The largest area is Oukaimeden, at 2650m - 3268m with 6 T- Bars (yuck) and 1 chair lift. Michlifen has two lifts, and beyond that, you're on your own with this one. |

Ski Magazine said, in 1990 "there is no base lodge and the grooming
is done by a fellow with a shovel. Local ski technique is fast, fearless
and not necessarily with skill" so check your insurance before
you leave.
Update: Derek Giroulle tells me its a great area for ski mountaineering, and tours are possible. Also that both resorts are being renovated by the Spanish company Cetursa and you can see the olympic ski team at www.skimaroc.tk |
