Is Skiing in Slovakia weird? Hmm, borderline mainstream I reckon, but its true, I didn't know anything about it, and Ludo wrote me, saying "the country is a real central Europe Ski paradise!".
Well I didn't know it boasted more than 1000 ski tows and 30 lifts ( not really a boarders paradise then ) but the number is ski resorts is in the hundreds! I mean, look at this, though I would assume most of them are on the bijou side.
Cheap? We overfed western Europeans ask, well a weeks pass at chopok-jasno, a biggish resort, is 3500 Sk (Koruna) which today is about £60, so not especially.
